Why should I choose corporate housing?

Corporate housing is a comfortable alternative to hotel rooms and extended stay facilities. Most hotel chains have limited space and services to offer. Our apartments come fully-furnished in a variety of layouts and include all the amenities you will need to have an enjoyable stay. 

 

Is corporate housing only for business professionals?

Anyone who needs an apartment for 30 days or more can benefit from corporate housing. We offer practical solutions for a variety of reasons, including: business trips, relocation, family and medical emergencies, extended vacations, and more. Even if you are just visiting relatives, our housing options will give the best value for your money. 

 

How much space does each unit have?

Our company offers one, two, and three bedroom apartments at a single monthly rate. Unlike a regular hotel room, these units have separate bedroom*, kitchen, and living room areas. You get double the space you normally would and each space is professionally furnished. 

Our apartments range from 500 to 2000 or more sq. feet depending on the layout. Some units also include extra storage space. 

 

Is parking available?

Some units include covered parking or access to a garage at a low monthly cost. Please let us know upfront if you would like this to be included. 

 

Does it cost more than a hotel room?

Our rates are competitive and usually the amount you pay is significantly less than a hotel room. Regardless of the layout you choose, you will get a much better value for your money. 

 

Do your rates fluctuate?

Yes, our rates change based on the housing provider we work with. The rates also depend on the size/layout of the apartment and the duration of lease. 

Rates during our off-season (based on a 3-6 month commitment):

Standard one bedroom: around $75 per night

Standard two bedroom: around $85 per night

Standard three bedroom: around $99 per night

 

Do I need to pay utility bills?

Our payment process is easy and all-inclusive. All of our services are bundled into one low monthly payment. That means you won’t need to worry about making separate payments for your rent or utilities.  

 

How does the billing process work?

Our company believes in transparency. We will never surprise you with taxes or hidden fees. You will be charged one monthly rate that covers everything included in our standard options. This includes the full cost of utilities with the exception of overages (not common). Your payment will cover gas (where applicable), electricity, sewage, and water. It will also cover trash pick-up and recycling.  In addition, each apartment comes with high speed wireless internet and a basic expanded cable TV package. 

 

What lease options are available?

We provide competitive leases for anyone who needs temporary housing for 30 days or more. Our standard leases are 3 to 6 months, we may have apartments available for as short as a 1 month stay. You can also switch to a monthly payment agreement after your lease is completed (a rate increase may apply). 

 

Is there a deposit or a move-in fee? 

The deposit is competitively priced at $275 and is fully refundable. We also require a $225 fee which covers administrative work and the cost of moving in. This fee is non-refundable. 

 

How much time do I need to find an apartment?

We recommend beginning your search at least 45 days before you want to move in. We can give you pricing details within 60 days of the move-in date. 

 

Do I have to pay taxes?

No, we believe in keeping it as simple as possible. That is why our all-inclusive, monthly fee will covers everything. Your rent, utility bills, installation costs, and maintenance fees will all be bundled into one low payment. 

Say goodbye to added taxes and hidden fees! 

 

How much notice do I need to give before I move out? 

Our residents are required to notify us 30 or 60 days before they move out. 

 

Are your apartments pet friendly? 

Many of the housing communities we work with allow pets. You can also choose to add pet accommodations to your apartment for an additional cost. Some of our housing providers have breed and weight restrictions. 

 

Can I customize my apartment?

Yes, we believe all of our residents should have a say in the design process. You can choose what décor you would like or leave it to our professionals. Whether you want your space to be simple and modern or lavish and eccentric, our team can make any space feel like home. 

 

Will I have cable and internet?

Yes, each resident has access to high-speed wireless internet and a basic expanded cable package. Your apartment will come with a 40+ flat-screen TV with HD channels. You can also upgrade to a premium cable package and add on movie channels. 

 

Will I have a washer and dryer?

Most of the apartments we offer come with a washer and dryer in unit. Some of the older housing communities in Kansas City do no offer this feature.  However, you may be able to use a portable washer and dryer.*

 

What services and amenities do you offer?

We offer a wide range of services and amenities to make your stay comfortable and low maintenance. All of our units come fully furnished and equipped with standard household necessities. This includes kitchenware, linens, cleaning supplies, decorations, and more. We also offer additional services at a competitive price. Examples include maid service, dog walking services, and covered or reserved parking.

Can I set up my own Corporate Housing unit?

We might make it look easy, but it has taken years of experience to get where we are today. We offer our residents budget-friendly solutions and a wide variety of services because we do everything in bulk. Our professionals know the Kansas City region well, including the most cost-effective and popular locations. We have spent years researching and building the relationships necessary to give our residents the best value for their money. We know the housing occupancy policies of different providers and how to get any required permits.
